The Statement Hat

If you can pull off a hat, by all means, do it. It just means you have another trick up your sleeves that the hat people don't. So find what that is and use it to your advantage. This particular large brim sun hat found at the neighborhood hat store was a no brainer. Pop it over a black and white layered look and were talking dimension. The cropped mandarin collar shirt (which doesn't need to be buttoned all the way) sits nicely over the pleat dress (which i cut 4 inches off of by the way) while Sandro makes the perfect cropped leather jacket that's been a go-to for the completion of most of my outfits these days.
