The Timeless Leather

Joggers. They're everywhere. And despite my disgust for "what's trending," or "everybody-is-doing-it-so-i-must also" mentality, I've succumbed to the power of its beautifully tapered fit that just happened to oh-so naturally glide onto my body. Raise those suckers up past the belly button, cuff the hem three times to show some of that ankle and my short legs are in for that deceptive elongation. Likewise, this vintage Barbara Bui Initials #throwback leather jacket of veritable lamb, was an easy snatch from my mother's closet clean-out. I wasn't sure if women shopping Barbara Bui at the time had arms as long as their legs but I definitely had to get this baby altered by decreasing the sleeve length a whopping three inches. Since timeless pieces like these are bound to be in your closet forever, it's worth that alteration buck or two...or three...
